A historical re-enactment of a car race that occured in south Lake County in 1909. We follow the original course with a cruise and end up at Lowell, where trophies and dash plaques are awarded.

The celebration commemorating Crown Point's history as a "Marriage Mill" during the 1930's and 40's. An actual wedding takes place, along with renewal of vows. If interested in participating, please call 663-1800.

Enjoy beautiful music supplied by choirs and musical groups from the local churches. Event held on the Old Courthouse lawn, bring your lawn chairs, free admission.

An annual "Fun Cruise" beginning with registration at 5 p.m. at the Crown Point High School on South Main St. Cruise around town and end at the Jewel Plaza on North Main Street to enjoy the music, and admire the cars. Admission is $10.
July 4, 2008 (2:00 pm - 4:30 pm)
A wonderful traditional parade with lots of floats and musical shows. The parade begins at Crown Point High School and ends at the Veteran's Triangle on North Main St.

Our annual Christmas Open House event, held in the shops throughout town. Carriage rides on the square and free snacks in the shops. Hours vary, many shops open on Sundays through Christmas.

Santa arrives in Crown Point at 10 a.m. and rides to the Old Courthouse in a Crown Point Fire Truck. Sit with Santa afterwards in the rotunda of the Old Courthouse.

Visit with Santa while eating breakfast. Games, door prizes and pictures and fun for the kids. Admission is $4.00, children under 1 year old are free.
